The Congregation
We are a group with diverse origins in the Christian faith so there is a warm welcome for everyone to our services regardless of their previous history or denomination. Our style of worship is fairly traditional but we are happy to experience new and different ways to worship God. He is the centre of all we do – why we are here for!
Directions
Polyphant is situated 4 miles from Launceston along the A30 in the direction of Bodmin. Exit the A30 by turning right at the Two Bridges quarry then follow the lane through the village green and the church will face you at the road junction on the north end of the village. There is a large car park at the rear.
HALL BOOKINGS
The Chapel and Community Centre are available to hire for children’s parties, clubs or meetings. Polyphant Methodist Church and Community Centre is an open plan carpeted building with wheel chair access and an invalid toilet. There is a fitted kitchen and an enclosed car park to the rear of the building with easy access to the building. The hire fee is £10 per hour for either room.

REGULAR EVENTS in Polyphant
The Knit & Natter Group will meet on Mondays at 2pm (excluding Bank Holidays). Refreshments are available and everyone is welcome. For further information contact Julie on 07741 469006.
Remembrance Day
This wonderful display of poppies were knitted by the Group and they looked so realistic that someone tried to pick them!
Monthly Coffee Mornings are held in the Community Centre on the second Wednesday of every month. Come and chat with your neighbours, and enjoy coffee and slice of cake. Everyone welcome. We will also have a table sale of china, picture frames, mirrors, photo albums and much more. Contact Irene on 01566 451522 for further information.
Polyphant Ladies Club meet in the Chapel on the last Wednesday of every month with organised speakers and outings (Contact Ann Hobden for information 07767 307200).
This image is one of the Christmas stalls set up for our PolyphantBazaar last year. It was a successful event with over £300 collected for the Ladies Club and a further £300 was donated to the Polyphant Chapel on the day.
The Chapel is a collection point for Launceston Food Bank if you wish to donate food at any time, all contributions are most welcome.
