Boyton is often noted by visitors for it’s warm welcome, within its services, at its coffee mornings and other events. Special services (Easter, Christmas and Harvest) attract members of the wider community, as well as our ‘Own Arrangement’ services.
A popular Coffee Morning, open to all, is held on the first and third Thursday of each month from 10am to 11.45am.

Boyton Methodist Church is situated in the centre of the village about 6 miles from Launceston. The Church building dates from 1889 and was refurbished in 2003 including disabled wheelchair access. Further work to replace the ceiling of the main worship area was completed in Spring 2025; this was supported by both local and national grants as well as fund-raising.
The Church aims to care for the Church family and the community. As well as the popular regular Coffee Mornings, community events include Soup and Sweet lunches and other activities such as supporting the village Primary School as they use our building for their Christmas productions and some fund-raising events. Each year we support the Launceston Food Bank through our Harvest Thanksgiving and a ‘Toy Service’ when members of the congregation and community donate wrapped gifts.

Take the turn for Boyton at Ladycross, continuing on to Boyton for about 3 miles.
