Please note that the Circuit Covenant Service next Sunday morning starts at 11am.
Core
Skills for children’s work. Please note: following the presentation of
the Basic Core Skills there are now a further 5 modules on offer for
anyone who wants to extend their skills. The modules on offer will
cover 1)Challenging Behaviour. 2)Special Needs. 3)Reaching &
Keeping Children. 4)Transitions. 5)Global Dimensions. The first session
is planned for Wed.4th Feb. Central, Launceston. 7.00 for 7.30pm (start
with tea & coffee). There is NO fee! You don’t need to have
completed the other sessions to benefit from these! Please see
Marguerite for booking form or further details.
College
Prayer Group: come and meet with us to pray for Launceston College and
the community on Monday 5th January. Meet at Reception at 8pm then
going to the Senior Canteen.
Shelterbox
Donation. At the recent Christmas Lunch Club donations totalling
£410.77 were received to go to the charity ShelterBox and have now been
paid. Thanks to all who gave, and to Doris Sleep and her hardworking
team of helpers.
Central's
coffee mornings. The following sums were raised 23.12.08 - £92.28;
30.12.08 - £45.35. Thanks to the Action Committee for organising these.
Please note the date of the next Church Council meeting has had to be changed. It is now booked for Thursday
12th March.
The monthly service at Cedar Grange will be held at 2.15pm on Thursday 8th January. All are welcome to attend.
