Boyton Methodist Church is situated in the centre of the village about 6 miles from Launceston. The church building was built 113 years ago and is currently being modernised to enable disabled access.

The church is a very welcoming with a congregation of up to 40 people of all ages. Sunday worship is at 11.00am and 7.00 pm in the evening when there is a service.

The young people in the Sunday School join the main congregation for the first part of the service and then leave for their own activities. Please contact Jill Duke (01566 785609) if you would like to join the Sunday school.

On the third Sunday of each month the congregation joins together for a family service. There is also a weekly house group at 7.30 pm at Jack and Sylvia Dukes. If you are interested in joining the group please call Jack on (on 01566 785466).

The Church has been recently refurbished and is adapted for wheelchairs. The Church aims to care for the Church family and the community. This is done by way of a luncheon club on the first and third Thursday of each month - please contact Sylvia Duke on 01566 785466 for further information. All age groups are welcome to any event.

A Toddlers and Playschool group, known as the 'Busy Bees' takes place each Monday and Tuesday from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm. Please call Alison Barriball on 01566 774243 for further details

A meeting of the Women's Institute takes place on the second Wednesday of each month at 7.30 pm.

How to find us: Take the B3254 road from Launceston. Take the turn for Boyton at Ladycross, continuing on to Boyton for about 3 miles.
